In Hindu culture, "Shubh Labh" is considered an auspicious phrase that is used to offer good wishes for success and prosperity. It is often seen written on the entrance of homes, offices, and shops.

The word "Shubh" means good or auspicious, while "Labh" means profit or gain. When used together, the phrase signifies the hope for positive energy, growth, and prosperity.

By putting up the "Shubh Labh" sign, people express their belief in the power of positive thoughts and affirmations. It serves as a reminder to focus on the good things in life and to work hard to achieve success and prosperity. It is believed that the presence of the "Shubh Labh" sign brings in positivity, good luck, and wealth.

Details in detail: The entire shubh labh tassel is 10 inches long, the silk loop of thread used for hanging is of 1 inch which is stitched from within the tassel. The motif of Shubh and Labh is embedded on a solid silk cloth. Towards the end of the tassel there is an embellished arc of 7 wood-based beads, each bead has rose gold tone gota-patti wrapped inside-out with bunch of 126 dull golden beads attached to it. 

Packaging: In the Indian culture, Shubh Labh motifs are placed permanently, through out the year on the main door of residential/corporate premises, however, sometimes it is just use as festive décor. For the times when they are not used, we provide dust bags along with the hangings for storage. 

For safety during transit, the hangings will be wrapped and packed in bubble wrap & corrugation sheets.

When IBHIs leave their dispatch unit to make place in a new home, they are sent in the most pristine form and we very strongly believe in first ownership, with the ideology that the IBHI has been only created for you. Hence, we don't have a refund or return option available on our policy list. We try our best to ensure safety while packing our IBHIs, but certain logistics mishaps are external and considering them we have created a room for exchanging the IBHI for the same IBHI when damaged during transit, for availing the exchange in case of damage, please get in touch with our team on +91 99788 14653 within 7 days of receiving the order.

IBHI was built to bring structure to India’s handicraft industry through business, craft and dignified livelihood.

In 2021, Pooja Dave was 22 years old when she noticed something most people walk past without a second thought. India’s handicraft industry had skilled hands, beautiful work and genuine value, but very little structure.

She decided to change that through a business. IBHI brought together India’s regional textile traditions like Banarasi, Patola and Silk with the handcraft skills of women who had never had a formal livelihood.

Today, 355 women across Kadi, Kalyanpura and Sanand work with IBHI. They are skilled artisans with a craft, a workplace and an income.

Every IBHI piece takes a minimum of 12 hours to make. Twelve hours of cutting, layering, stitching and finishing by hand, with precision and without shortcuts.

When you buy an IBHI piece, you are not just buying decor. You are supporting a system built to give Indian craft the structure it deserves and the women behind it the recognition they have earned.
