As the new bride is considered the avatar of Goddess Laxmi, the new family takes her feet imprints. The bride dips her feet in vermilion water and walks on the white cloth. This is considered one of the most important rituals.
We have made a humble attempt to glorify and preserve this tradition forever, in a traditional way.
DETAILS IN DETAIL: This Platter has a plain white circular disc of 12 inches which is wrapped in white cloth, the total diameter of the platter is 16 inches. The backside is a flat disc of 14 inches basal diameter wrapped in our house woven fabric, which is a look alike banarasi.
If you already have a fabric with the kanku pagla imprinted on it in the ceremony, we can help you make this a forever memory on the platter. The Platter has a small loop made using silk chandan thread, which is small enough to not be visible but strong enough to hold the entire Platter when hung on a wall as decor. Flat on a surface or suspended on a wall, this Platter is ultra versatile.

What is the Kumkum Pagla Ritual?
