How to close the bag?
Hold the Bag Upright
Place the potli on a flat surface or hold it in your hand so it’s open and upright.
Locate the Two Drawstrings
You’ll find two cords threaded through the top casing of the bag, emerging from opposite sides.
Pull Both Strings Simultaneously
Gently but firmly pull both strings outward at the same time.
As you do this, the fabric at the top will begin to gather and pleat inwards.
Close it Fully
Keep pulling until the opening is fully cinched shut. The drawstrings will meet in a bow-like shape on either side.
Secure the Closure (Optional)
You can tie the two ends into a loose knot or bow if you’re carrying it around or hanging it for display.
✨ Bonus Tip:
Most IBHI potlis have tasselled ends, which not only add beauty but make pulling and tying easier.
