DETAILS IN DETAIL: Our IBHI is made using historic-heritage textiles of India, so of course this IBHI has its own history, not very old though. This IBHI was designed and created as a Rangoli during the festive season, yet it evolved as a multi-purpose and versatile pallet. It is a stand alone single piece beauty, it has two different sides, it is covered in flat Panna Hara Navratna Patola digital print on one side with solid maroon on the back side with embellished mirror and gota patti work, which makes it two-sided. The basal diameter of this pallet is 14 inches, it is firm and sturdy.  Along with the tassles, the total diameter of the pallet is 17 inches

IBHI's rangoli can be hung on the wall, here's how!
The pallet has a small loop made using silk chandan thread, which is small enough to not be visible but strong enough to hold the entire pallet when hung on a wall as decor. Flat on a surface or suspended on a wall, this pallet is ultra versatile.

The pictures and videos are shot using Iphone 13 Pro and have undergone no post-processing edits to make sure that you have an exact perception of the IBHI.

ABOUT TRADITIONAL RANGOLIS: Rangoli is a traditional form of Indian art, typically created on the floor using vibrant colored powders, rice, sand or flower petals. It is commonly practiced in India, Nepal, and other South Asian countries during festivals and special occasions, particularly Diwali, the festival of lights.

Rangolis are usually made in circular or square shapes and range in size from small to large. They are often designed with intricate patterns and geometrical shapes, as well as depictions of animals, flowers, and religious symbols.

Creating a Rangoli is a time-consuming process, as it requires precision, creativity, and attention to detail. The powders or other materials are carefully laid out on the floor using hands, spoons, or other tools to create the desired patterns and shapes.

In addition to being a form of artistic expression, Rangolis hold deep cultural and spiritual significance in Indian traditions. They are believed to bring good fortune, spread positive energy, and honor the gods and goddesses. Rangolis are also seen as a symbol of hospitality, welcoming guests with their bright and colorful designs.

Today, Rangolis continue to be an important part of Indian culture, with many artists and enthusiasts around the world practicing this beautiful art form to preserve and promote their heritage.

Team IBHI's message for you

What we have mentioned in the description in words is simply 9% of how much we think when we design a UTILITY+DESIGN product at IBHI, we visualize and soak in more than what we can express. We hope this IBHI is able to justify the effort and skill of those 300+ women artists who have collectively made this handcrafted beauty.

Materials and care

All IBHI products are meticulously handmade, involving various stages of different craftsmanship. Our creations are a blend of layers of high-quality fabric, Medium Density Fibre (MDF) for structure, and intricate beads and embellishments. The beads are meticulously connected using rolls of threads and hand stitches, adding to the uniqueness and charm of our products.

When you receive your IBHI product, it will be covered in protective packaging. You might require a sharp object like a cutter or scissors to open the package. While opening, please be careful not to cut into the fabric or the product itself. Although our pieces are sturdy, they are also works of art that appreciate love and care.

Handle your IBHI products delicately to preserve their beauty and longevity. Display them in a safe place where they can be admired. No amount of sunlight will affect the quality and finish of the product. The fabrics used are digitally printed using high-grade inks and pigments, making it sunshine friendly. Store them in a dry place to avoid moisture damage. To clean, gently dust with a soft cloth or a soft-bristle brush, and avoid using harsh chemicals or water directly on the fabric and embellishments.

By following these care instructions, you can ensure that your IBHI creations remain beautiful and cherished for years to come.
