DETAILS IN DETAIL: Our IBHI is made using historic-heritage textiles of India, so of course this IBHI has its own history, not very old though. This IBHI was designed and created as a Rangoli during the festive season, yet it evolved as a multi-purpose and versatile pallet. It is a stand alone single piece beauty, it has two different sides, it is covered in flat digital print on one sides and cut-out motif on the other, which makes it two-sided. The basal diameter of this pallet is 10 inches, it is firm and sturdy. The pallet has 30 tassels on the periphery which are hand-sewn on at the base, the spherical beads are made using wood with rose gold tone spherical beads wrapped inside out.  Each sphere has a bunch of 85 fibre based dull golden beads. Along with the tassles, the total diameter of the pallet is 12 inches

The pallet has a small loop made using silk chandan thread, which is small enough to not be visible but strong enough to hold the entire pallet when hung on a wall as decor. Flat on a surface or suspended on a wall, this pallet is ultra versatile.

The pictures and videos are shot using Iphone 13 Pro and have undergone no post-processing edits to make sure that you have an exact perception of the IBHI.

ABOUT THE MOTIF: shri yantra

The Shri Yantra, also known as the Sri Chakra, is a sacred geometric diagram representing the cosmic energy and divine forces in Hinduism. It holds significant importance and is considered one of the most powerful and auspicious symbols in the Indian spiritual tradition. Here are some key aspects of the importance of the Shri Yantra:

  1. Spiritual and Mystical Significance: The Shri Yantra is believed to embody the fundamental aspects of creation and existence. It represents the union of the masculine and feminine divine energies (Shiva and Shakti) and their harmonious interplay. It is considered a visual representation of the universe and the interconnectedness of all beings.

  2. Meditation and Spiritual Growth: The Shri Yantra is used as a tool for meditation, as it helps focus the mind and cultivate a sense of inner peace and harmony. Meditating on the Yantra is believed to activate the chakras (energy centers) in the body and facilitate spiritual growth and self-realization.

  3. Prosperity and Abundance: It is widely believed that the Shri Yantra has the power to attract positive energies and abundance into one's life. The geometric patterns and symbols are thought to resonate with cosmic forces, which can enhance financial prosperity, success, and overall well-being.

  4. Protection and Warding off Negativity: The Shri Yantra is considered a potent symbol of protection against negative energies, evil spirits, and malefic forces. It is believed to create a positive and protective aura around the person or place where it is installed or worshipped.

  5. Alignment of Energies: The sacred geometry of the Shri Yantra is said to create a harmonious alignment of energies in the environment. It is often used in Vastu Shastra (the Indian system of architecture) to promote positivity and balance in homes and workplaces.

  6. Ritual and Devotional Worship: Many devotees and practitioners of Hinduism worship the Shri Yantra as a representation of the Divine Mother or the Goddess Lalita Tripurasundari. It is an integral part of certain tantric practices and pujas (ritualistic worship) dedicated to the Goddess.

  7. Yantra as a Symbolic Path: The Shri Yantra is sometimes viewed as a symbolic representation of the journey from material existence to spiritual enlightenment. Its intricate layers and patterns symbolize the stages of spiritual evolution and the unification of individual consciousness with the cosmic consciousness.

Overall, the Shri Yantra holds deep spiritual significance and is revered as a potent tool for personal growth, abundance, protection, and connection with the divine. It is essential to note that its true power lies not just in its physical form but also in the devotion, intention, and spiritual practice of the individual using it.

PACKAGING: Just how we make this IBHI with love, we pack them with love ultra pro max! We cut silk fabric and protective packaging material into a six petal flower and close it into a bundle using tasseled silk thread.

ABOUT TRADITIONAL RANGOLIS: Rangoli is a traditional form of Indian art, typically created on the floor using vibrant colored powders, rice, sand or flower petals. It is commonly practiced in India, Nepal, and other South Asian countries during festivals and special occasions, particularly Diwali, the festival of lights.

Rangolis are usually made in circular or square shapes and range in size from small to large. They are often designed with intricate patterns and geometrical shapes, as well as depictions of animals, flowers, and religious symbols.

Creating a Rangoli is a time-consuming process, as it requires precision, creativity, and attention to detail. The powders or other materials are carefully laid out on the floor using hands, spoons, or other tools to create the desired patterns and shapes.

In addition to being a form of artistic expression, Rangolis hold deep cultural and spiritual significance in Indian traditions. They are believed to bring good fortune, spread positive energy, and honor the gods and goddesses. Rangolis are also seen as a symbol of hospitality, welcoming guests with their bright and colorful designs.

Today, Rangolis continue to be an important part of Indian culture, with many artists and enthusiasts around the world practicing this beautiful art form to preserve and promote their heritage.
